Mario Kart World is a kart racing game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch 2. An entry in the Mario Kart series, players take control of one of several Mario characters as they race against up to 23 other opponents. During races, offence and speed-boosting power-ups are used to gain an advantage. Alternatively, players can race against the clock in a time trial mode. New additions to Mario Kart World include a new open-world format, a knockout tournament mode, and unlockable costumes for the playable characters.
